I am so happy you are here considering cat grooming for you wonderful cat!

"How did you get into cat grooming?" is a question I get asked a lot. It really has been a wonderful journey getting here and didn't happen overnight. I have always loved animals and thought I would be a veterinarian or work at the zoo when I was a growing up. But the universe had other plans for me and I became a teacher. I taught early childhood special education over the span of 27 years before throwing the towel in and retiring in July 2025. As the time grew closer towards retiring from teaching, I knew this was the time to embrace a new passion and learn a new skill to start a second career. Animals have always brought great joy to my heart, so it was a no brainer to do something with animals. After having difficulty finding a cat groomer for my own cats, I started to think this is a much needed service. I looked into cat grooming training and decided to go for it and make it into a reality. I began studying with the National Cat Groomers Institute of America in August of 2024 and then opened my little studio in March 2025.

This new endeavor of feline grooming has been more fun, heartwarming, challenging, and rewarding than I could have ever expected.
